In Kind Donations & Other Ways to Contribute

The Feria Del Barrio Festival is supported by the hard work and dedication of hundreds of volunteers that set up booths, move tables, clean the streets, and assist the talent and more during the event. Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas is requesting in-kind donations to help feed these volunteers and the performing artists ranging from food, beverages to smaller items like utensils, plates and napkins. Any in-kind donations that your business is willing to contribute would be greatly appreciated, and you can be assured that the donations will go directly to the Feria Del Barrio Festival 2014. During the festival, more than 300 volunteers and performers will recognize your contribution. Any marketing materials you have may be distributed at the festival to gain greater exposure as well. We’re open to conversation about customization of benefits for all interested supporters.

Please consider supporting the largest Latino festival in the region with an in-kind donation of any size! We would like to have all donations confirmed by Friday, September 12th, 2014. Please contact Raices Culturales Latinoamericanas Program and Marketing Manager, Erika Guadalupe Nunez, at or call (215) 425-1390 about your contribution and any questions.

Video from 2012 Feria

In 2011, last time FERIA was held, it attracted over twelve thousand people, bringing together national and Philadelphia-based Latino musicians and dancers for six (6) hours of live entertainment presented on its main stage. Free to the public, FERIA also provides art demonstrations, information booths, craft sales, artists and artisans, children’s games, and performances by local artists. FERIA attendees have their choice of cuisine from various Latin American countries. In addition, it promotes the  products and services of many area organizations and businesses along the FERIA route on the 2700 and 2800 blocks of North 5th Street between Lehigh Avenue and Cambria Street. This collaboration of four organizations brings together years of experience in the arts, education, social services and community development.
